CIS NGO Database At the moment within the framework of preparing the international confer= ence "Building the Informational Commonwealth: Informational Technologies and Prospects of Development of the Civil Society Institutions in CIS Countries" Saint Petersburg, April 22-24, 2003 CCNS creates the database under the working name "Information and communication technologies (ICTs) for the purposes of civil society in CIS development".We would be very grateful if within the period of two weeks you present us some information about you organization's work in this field. Please describe briefly (1 or 2 pages) in free form the past (starting from 1998) and present projects of your organization, which include using of ICTs for non-commercial purposes. Please give the following information in this description: name of the project, name of the project leader, whether it is possible to find information about this project in the Internet and/or in publications (where), financial sources of the project, preliminary (or final) results of the project and future plans of your organization in this field. Please, use TXT or RTF format for your replies. One of the main purposes of this database is to form the representative l= ist of the participants from CIS countries.
